Mission Statement

The mission of the Skyline Riders of Napa Valley is to serve the equestrian community by promoting, supporting, and providing equestrian educational programs, affordable equestrian facilities, safe and humane activities for the education of the horse and rider in all equestrian disciplines and to provide a forum for the education of the community about horses.  We are based at Skyline Park. Our meetings are held in the Skyline Park Social Hall on a quarterly basis.

About  Skyline  Riders

At one time, Napa had the highest per capita horse population in all of Northern California.  With the increase in population (housing) and vineyards, there is now a lack of affordable boarding facilities.  Places to ride are quickly disappearing.  The horsemen (and non-horsemen) of Napa needs to work together to assure that future generations who share our passion for horses are able to enjoy what we have so long taken for granted.  Let's work with our city, county and state governments to preserve what we can.  Let's give the active horsemen in Napa a VOICE

To accomplish this we need to:

Encourage your fellow and future riders.  Participate in horse related activities and sponsor educational clinics.  Help a fellow member who may be interested in trying out a different discipline that you have already mastered.  We all have something to learn from each other.

Share your passion.  Get inspired by your fellow riders.  Be inspirational to others.  If you see a child looking at you with awe, take the time to stop and talk with them.  They are our future riders!
